About the grants
Developed in partnership with the BBC, the Breathing Places grants programme aims to help community groups across the UK develop and maintain nature friendly breathing places in their local area.
The funding is for projects and activities that benefit wildlife and people, which could include everything from the creation of community wildlife gardens and woodland retreats to enhancing urban parks and training specialist volunteers.
